CENTER\/SAT<\/h3><\/div>
<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text css=””]The ERAMON CENTER system and the ERAMON SAT systems form the cornerstones of ERAMON\u2019s architecture.<\/p>\n

The CENTER system serves as the central functional and data management unit. It offers a user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) accessible via any modern web browser, significantly simplifying the management and monitoring of your network infrastructure. Additionally, the CENTER system provides a central database where all relevant information is stored, enabling fast and efficient data processing.<\/p>\n

The SAT systems act as data collectors within the network, actively communicating with devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. These systems are designed to collect data in real-time and relay it to the CENTER system. This architecture makes the entire system highly scalable and adaptable to the specific needs of your company.<\/p>\n

Safety features<\/strong><\/p>\n

A particularly important feature of the ERAMON architecture is the safeguarding of critical network areas, such as the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). By strategically positioning the systems, latency is significantly reduced, which is essential for efficient data processing and transmission.<\/p>\n

The smallest basic unit consists of a CENTER and a SAT:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • CENTER: GUI can be reached via browser, centralized database<\/li>\n
  • SAT: a separate server to poll the devices, traps and syslog receivers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1591089861746{padding-top: 10px !important;}”]CENTER and SAT can be set up redundantly. The number of SATs is an important factor for the scaling.[\/vc_column_text]

    Depending on your requirements, further components are available and might be necessary:<\/p>\n

    • EPM: a pure database server for saving polled measurements<\/li>\n
    • CustomerPS: a dedicated server for external logins, e.g. located in the DMZ<\/li>\n
    • Traffic Analysis Server: a dedicated server for saving the flows<\/li>\n

      Depending on the application or the number of the devices, ERAMON distinguishes between 3 expansion stages:<\/p>\n

      • Classic: for example: quad-core, 16GB RAM, 4+146 GB SAS HDD<\/li>\n
      • Performance: for example: hexa-core, 24GB RAM, 8+146 GB SAS HDD<\/li>\n
      • Ultra Performance: for example: 2x hexa-core, >48GB RAM, 4x 146 GB SAS HDD, 1-2x 600GB SSD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        The OS used is: Linux. The main database used is: MySQL.<\/p>\n

        An important scaling factor is the number of SATs. The smallest application requires just one SAT.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
